On Saturday Dec 13th about 20 of us had a meal at the Luna Mansion on Main St Los Lunas. The owners are closing the place for good at the end of this year. I didn't take any photos of the bunch of us having a meal but I took a few of the lovely building inside. Here's one of a doorway. The mansion is haunted and I hoped to catch the image of a ghost or two but nothing showed up.

Buddhist relics were on display Sat and Sunday of this past weekend at the Quang Minh Tu Vietnamese Buddhist Temple in Albuquerque. The relics from Shakyamuni Buddha, Ananda, Milarepa, Yeshe Tsogyal, Nagarjuna, Longchenpa, Lama Thubten Yeshe, HH Dudjom Rinpoche, and other masters in the Chinese, Indian, Korean, and Tibetan traditions.
Relics are beautiful pear-like crystals found among the cremation ashes of Buddhist masters. Buddhists believe the relics are produced from the master’s compassion and wisdom. Since we can all develop these qualities, the relics remind us of our own essential pure nature and open our hearts to peace and loving-kindness Visitors often report experiences of inspiration and healing when in the presence of the relics. Many are overcome by emotion as the powerful effects of the relics open their hearts.

Sep 4th Kicking up some dust... Ulla Hudson, an internationally known riding instructor, has been giving dressage lessons at a local ranch in Los Lunas. Dressage is explained as "a French term meaning 'training' and its purpose is to develop the horse’s natural athletic ability and willingness to work making him calm, supple and attentive to his rider. The origins of dressage date back to Xenophon in Greece and include a long line of riding masters, both from the military and the famous riding schools which developed during the Baroque era. (It's the type of riding the famous Lippizans of the Spanish Riding School of Vienna do). Dressage is good for any type of horse. One can use it for a training method or compete in shows where individual horse & rider pairs ride a choreographed 'test'."

Aug 2nd . . .Yesterday was such a wonderful day... I think one of our best events ever. Greg Temmer played the armonica for us at Gary's house and spoke about its history. wow - what an empowering day it was. I was so pleased to see Greg hook up with so many people who can help him go further in pursuing his passion! Greg's web site is http://www.temmerengineering.com/. Jun 21st .... The Angel Gate at Paul & Sue's House was put into place and fired up. We put various colors of crystals on the posts; said some intentions; and did a little toning. June 14th, -- We met for the first sound meditation and Potluck at Trudy's house. I didn't take any photos at this event. It was a day for appreciating sound. First we had a meditation at Trudy's which involved a nice energetic dance and then cool down and then silent meditation. Trudy is such a master at leading meditation. She knows when to speak and when to direct people. It's just what I needed that day. She also did a demonstration of some very large, and I mean large pipe vibrations.
In the evening 
Greg Temmer demonstrated the armonica at a meeting of the Albuquerque Paranormal Group. We plan on having Greg give us a concert in the near future in Peralta or Los Lunas.
The instrument was invented by Benjamin Franklin and reported to be the invention that gave him the most joy and satisfaction. Greg is one of only seventeen people in the world who play the armonica. I really enjoyed meeting Greg and seeing him play because of the authentic passion that I saw on his face when he spoke about the instrument and when he played it. It's something that he's really given his attention to and brings him a lot of joy. Click here to hear a 16 second sample of the armonica.
June 1, Saturday we gathered on the mesa to collect stones for the shaft in Nepal.
It was very hot, but we managed to get more rocks han we needed. We didn't know we got too many un till we got them home and Paul calculated the number it would take to fill the shaft in Nepal. Click here to see a full report and a photo album.
We of course have to bring the extra stone back to the temple site and so we will be doing that shortly.
